Credentials & Qualifications
Applicants for membership must meet the following requirements:
• Be actively engaged in the interior design industry and have operated a professional design business for a minimum of one (1) year.
• Provide a valid Tax Identification Number (Tax ID).
• Provide the physical business address and location of their company. This information is for verification purposes only and is not required to be displayed on the IDA website.
• Submit a professional portfolio demonstrating completed design projects, industry experience, and the quality of work performed.
• Provide two (2) professional references. Applicants who are sponsored or referred by a current IDA member may submit one (1) professional reference.
The Interior Design Association of Western New York (IDA) is comprised of talented interior designers and a diverse network of industry professionals who share a passion for design excellence and professional growth.
Membership provides access to a dynamic community dedicated to advancing the interior design profession through education, collaboration, networking, and industry engagement. Members benefit from valuable resources, professional development opportunities, industry events, and meaningful connections with fellow design professionals.
